Ingredients
- Ribbed Beef
- 2 Leeks
- 1 swede
- 3 carrots
- 4/5 potatoes
- Lentils
- 2 medium sized onions
- pepper
- Salt
- Fresh Parsley
- **leave lentils in a dish to soak over night**

Preparation
Step 1
Boil beef in a saucepan of water for a bout half hour. Strain away all the water. Cut any fat off the beef. Add more water to saucepan.
Step 2
Grate carrots , dice potatoes and swede. Slice lentils and onion, also chop up the parsley.
Add all to the pot and seaso with salt and pepper to required taste
Step 3
Bring to the boil.
Turn down to simmer, stirring occasionally
Leave overnight as it tastes better the next day
