Preparation
Step 1
Use a knife and a teaspoon to core the apple, removing all the seeds but keeping as much of the rest of the apple as possible.
Be careful not to cut all the way through the apple - the base should still be intact.
Step 2
Place the apple in a microwavable bowl and microwave for 3 to 3.5 minutes. The apple should be very warm and feel soft when squeezed gently.
Step 3
Sprinkle the teaspoon of sugar into the apple and poke as much of your chosen filling into the apple as will fit.
Step 4
Microwave for a further minute, then enjoy!
(Be careful - the fruit can be extremely hot!)
This recipe needs to be tested a couple of times for the perfect texture as every microwave is different.
