Ingredients

  • 180g rice crispies
  • 200g milk chocolate
  • 100g raisins
  • 75g chopped almonds
  • 4 tbsp golden syrup.

Preparation

Step 1

Place a bowl over a simmering pan of water (be sure to make sure the bottom of the bowl does not touch the water). Break up the milk chocolate and add to the bowl with the golden syrup and stir until melted. Remove the bowl from the heat.

Step 2

Add the rice crispies, raisins and almonds to the melted chocolate and carefully mix to avoid breaking the rice crispies.

Step 3

Gently press into a shallow baking tray and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes, cut into pieces and chill for another 90 minutes
