Ingredients
- ripe pears peeled, cored and chopped
- 100g light brown sugar
- 100g dark choc chips
- 125g plan flour
- 125g golden granulated sugar
- 100g cold butter, diced ice cream

Step 1
combine the pears with light brown sugar and half the choc chips and put into ovenproof dish.
for the topping put flour, granulated sugar and butter in food processor and pulse until combined.
stir remaining choc chips into the topping, then sprinkle over the pear and press it down lightly.
you can make the crumble ahead of this stage if you wish and then chill until ready to bake.
heat oven to 180 degrees
place dish on baking tray
bake for 30-40 minutes or until golden hot and bubbling
serve hot with ice cream

Pear and chocolate together at last in a crumble! I can never make plain old apple crumble again.
I want to use white coconut chocolate but I'm worried it will burn, any ideas??
