Ingredients

  • 6 - 8 soft cooking apples
  • 100g brown sugar (or vanilla sugar)
  • 150g plain flour
  • 75g softened butter

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 180C.
2. Peel and cut apples into thin slices. Place them in place to stop them from turning brown.
3. Pour out some of the water, add sugar and simmer them on a low meat until they become mushy.
4. Put the sugar and flour in a mixing bowl and with your hands, crumble the butter into the mix, until it looks like large yellow breadcrumbs.
5. Place the mushy apple, drained, into a oven dish and sprinkle with vanilla sugar.
6. Place the crumble mix on top and put into the oven for 30 minutes.
7. Eat hot and serve with cream and cinnamon.
