Scones
Not fancying the cheese and marmite scones? Here's a more traditional recipe..

Ingredients
- 225g plain flour
- 2tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 30g caster sugar
- 55g butter
- 55g raisins/sultanas
- 150ml milk
- flora
- strawberry jam
- squirty cream

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 200°C.
Mix flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in a large bowl.
Step 2
Rub butter into dry ingrediants until it looks like breadcrumbs.
Stir in raisins/sultanas.
Step 3
Add milk, a little at a time, until you have a firm dough (may not need it all but don't pour it away yet!)
Step 4
On a floured surface, pat the dough into a circle 1.5-2cm deep.
Cut scones out using a 6cm round cutter.
Step 5
Place scones on a non-stick baking sheet.
Brush with milk.
Bake for 12-15 mins.
Cool on a wire rack.
Step 6
TO SERVE:
Cut the scones in half horizontally.
Spread a little butter on each half.
Top generously with jam.
Squirt a healthy portion of cream on the top and enjoy!
