Easy Pizza Recipe 2
If you have the time, this pizza dough can be left to rise for a thicker base.

Ingredients
- 300g strong bread flour
- 1tsp instant yeast
- 1tsp salt
- 200ml warm water
- 1tbsp olive oil (plus extra)
- 100ml passata
- handful fresh (1tsp dried) basil
- 1 garlic clove
- seasoning
- 125g ball mozzarella (or can just use regular cheddar)
- block of cheese
- 10 cherry tomatoes
- any toppings of your choice (e.g. pepperoni, ham, mushrooms, sweetcorn, pepper and perhaps an egg for the centre)

Preparation
Step 1
Stir the flour, salt and yeast in a large bowl.
Make a well.
Pour in water and olive oil.
Stir with a wooden spoon until you have a soft, fairly wet dough.
On a floured surface, knead for 5 mins until smooth.
(OPTIONAL: cover and leave to rise for 60-90 mins)
Step 2
Crush the garlic.
Finely chop the basil.
Mix passata, basil and garlic together and season to taste.
Step 3
Cut the tomatoes in half.
Grate the cheese. (Slice the mozzarella)
Prepare any other toppings.
Step 4
Preheat oven to 240˚C.
(If the dough has been left to rise, knead briefly.)
Split dough into 2 or 4 balls.
On a floured surface, roll into 2 large 25cm bases, or 4 small bases.
Transfer onto floured baking sheets.
Step 5
Smooth sauce over the bases, leaving 1cm clear at the edges.
Sprinkle with the cheese, tomatoes and other toppings.
Drizzle with olive oil (or squirt with a 1 calorie spray) and season.
Step 6
Bake for 8-10 mins until crisp.
