- 50 g butter,
- 1 cube chicken stock or beef,
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- Salt,

Step 1
Peel and seed the pumpkin. Cut into large cubes. Fry them in butter in a large pot for about five minutes until it begins to brown. Add water, to the level of the pumpkin and the stock cube.
Step 2
Salt and pepper cautiously because of the stock cube. Leave to simmer until the pumpkin is soft. Blend the pumpkin with the water and stock. Serve with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil in a spiral.
