Preheat the to 180 ° C

Prepare the marrow: Cook the marrow in salted boiling water (20 to 30 minutes). Remove the water and leave to cool before cutting off the "hat" and remove the seeds. Then dig out the flesh with a spoon (without piercing the skin), chop it coarsely with a knife. Reserve.

Step 3

Prepare the courgettes: Cut the courgettes in 2 lengthwise. Remove the seeds, dig out the flesh, chop coarsely and reserve.

Step 4

The meat stuffing:
Finely chop the onion. In a hot pan, sweat the onion in butter and olive oil. Add the sliced ​​mushrooms, the lardons and tomatoes, cut into cubes. Add the minced beef and cook for 5 minutes. Pepper, add a pinch of granulated garlic (or fresh garlic) and herbs de provence. (Please note that the meat should not be overcooked, as it will continue to cook in the oven).
Pour this mixture into a bowl and add the grated cheese, the slice of bread in crumbs, and the egg. Mix.
You will need 2/3 of the stuffing for the marrow and the remaining 1/3 will be used for the courgettes.

The stuffed corgettes: Take the pan that was used to cook the stuffing, fry the courgette flesh for a few minutes. Add the flesh to the 1/3 of the stuffing that was set aside and mix together. Stuff the courgettes and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Place in a baking dish with a little water in the bottom. Bake for 20 mins at 180 ° C.

Step 6

The stuffed marrow:
Mix the chopped marrow with the 2/3 of the meat stuffing. Fill the marrow with stuffing and close it with it's hat. Bake for 20 minutes at 180 ° C.

Step 7

Serve the stuffed marrow and courgettes with rice.
