- 226g butter
- 135g white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1tp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tp salt

Step 1
Beat butter until smooth and creamy.
Step 2
Add sugar and mix until nice and smooth.
Step 3
Add egg and vanilla then mix.
Step 4
Add plain flour and salt and mix until dough is formed.
Step 5
Make different shape of the cookies.
Step 6
Glaze the batter with egg white.
Step 7
Bake for 10-15 min.
Lemon/orange skin may be added for flavour.
