Ingredients

  • 150 g plain flour plus extra
  • 60 g butter
  • 1 chicken stock cube
  • 1 vegetable stock cube
  • 2 Tbsp of gravy granules
  • 1 egg
  • 20 ml boiling water
  • 1 Tbsp milk (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Add the stock cubes and gravy granules together into a small bowl, then add the boiling water to make a gravy and leave it to cool down.

Step 2

Pre heat the oven to 180 for 15 mins.

Step 3

In a large bowl add the flour and butter, then rub the butter and flour until the consistency,

Step 4

Once the gravy has cooled down add it to the flour and butter, also add the egg.

Step 5

Mix it altogether until it forms a ball, if the dough is a bit dry add the milk.

Step 6

Roll the dough out on a floured surface, plus floured rolling pin. (roll it to your preferred thickness)

Step 7

Cut the dough into preferred shape and size then place it on a lined baking tray.

Step 8

Cook it for 25 mins, then take it out for cooling.

Step 9

Once cooled pack it into an airtight container.
