  • 1 tbsp of soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp of oil
  • Pinch of salt

Step 1

Vegetable Fried rice - Step 1

Cook the rice in boiling water making sure that there is a inch of water above the rice, its important to lightly salt the boiling water, then boil for about 12 minutes, until soft. Once you are happy with the rice drain well.

Step 2

Whilst waiting for the rice to cook you can prepare the vegetables. Dice the carrot, and onion and lightly chop the pak choi. once you have done that put them aside for when the rice is ready.

Step 3

Once all the vegetables and the rice is prepared lightly oil the wok and add the vegetables for about 2 minutes. Then spoon all of the rice into the wok and stir in, crake the egg into the wok and stir into the rice and the vegtables. Then add a small amount of soy sauce.
