  • 500g Minced Beef
  • 1 Large Onion
  • 3 Carrots
  • Mushrooms
  • Garlic
  • Herbs
  • 1 tin of tomatoes
  • 500g of spaghetti (or other pasta shape)

Step 1

Finely dice the onion, carrots and half the mushrooms (slice the other half of them)

Step 2

Fry the veg with mince beef in a pan

Step 3

When the meat is browned at the tin of tomatoes (blend before if you prefer) and amount two thirds of the tin filled with water

Step 4

Add some herbs, salt and pepper to taste and some tomato purée

Step 5

Leave to simmer for 10 minutes the put a pot of boiling water on and cook the pasta (times vary depending on brand and shape)

Step 6

Drain the pasta and incorporate in to sauce
+serve with cheese (optional)
