Ingredients

  • 5 regular ripe bananas or 4 large bananas (mashed)
  • 0.5 cup of sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup of butter
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1.5 cups of flour
  • Bar of preferred chocolate (100g)

Preparation

Step 1

Mix the mashed bananas, sugar, egg and butter together. Set aside.

Step 2

In a seperate bowl, mix together the baking soda, baking powder, salt and flour. Mix wet and dry ingredients all together. Add the chopped chocolate in to the mixture and give a good stir.

Step 3

Place muffin cases in a muffin tin and pour in the mixture. Should make at least 12 regular muffins.

Step 4

Place in a preheated oven and bake at 180 degrees c for approx 20 minutes.

You can pretty much add anything you like to the muffins, I have tried adding blueberries, blackberries etc. and sprinkle with chopped nuts before baking! Always turns out delicious, soft and moist!
