  • 8 oz strong bread flour or wholemeal flour
  • 1 level tsp salt
  • 1/2 oz margarine
  • 1/2 oz fresh yeast or sachet of instant
  • 1/4 pt warm water

Preparation

Step 1

light oven mark 8, 220 electric

Step 2

Put the flour into the bowl with the salt and rub in the margarine

Step 3

Add yeast

Step 4

Add water gradually until it forms a dough

Step 5

Knead firmly for 10 mins. Put to prove for 115 mins.

Step 6

Shape into bread rolls and put to prove again for 10 mins.

Step 7

Brush with milk and bake for 15-20 mins.
